PUPPY DISTEMPER Gene, I received this second hand from a close friend and YLEO distributor. As we often do, we were discussing our latest oil stories. Having personally experienced of the devastation of puppy distemper, nothing tops this one for me. A coworker had come into this same friend's office in a distraught state. She had obviously been crying. She and her husband had gotten a puppy at the pound and had become deeply attached to it when it became ill. The vet informed them that it was distemper which is incurable in puppies. My friend handed her a bottle of Thieves and suggested she try putting it on the puppy's feet. The pup responded with excitement to the first application and thereafter would come to her with paws extended for more. She took to going home on the lunch hour to be sure that it received regular applications. The pup would greet her, paws out, wanting oil. Whenever she was sitting down at home it would crawl into her lap, paws extended for more. There seemed to be some improvement taking place. On going to work she left the bottle on the drainboard with the lid tightly screwed on. She returned home one day to find that the puppy somehow managed to get onto the counter, got the lid off and drank the entire bottle. (Here I worried about what she would say next, but no need.) The puppy was totally cured! And the vet, so certain in his prognosis, had never seen anything like it. Sharon |
