DOGS - ANXIETY & FEARFULNESS

Hi all! I wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to which oils to use on my dogs to help them be less fearful of visitors. We are working on socializing them as much as possible, but I wondered if there was an oil or combination of oils that I could use to assist the process. They are very fearful of anyone who we let into our home. They warm up after about 30 mins or so but won't go near them until then. Thanks! Amanda

DOGS - ANXIETY & FEARFULNESS

Under anxiety, the book says: Basil, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Cypress, Frankincense, Geranium, Hyssop, Jasmine, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Lime, Marjoram, Melissa, Patchouly, Pine, Release, Rose, Sandalwood, Surrender, Tangerine, Ylang Ylang.

I would try the oils in the Essential 7 kit, and diffuse Lavender Peace & Calming to establish a 'quiet calm' before anyone arrives. If that does not work and they still become alert when company arrives, I would put a drop on their front paws (just put it in the hand, and put the paw in the palm of the hand, and let the oils absorb into their paw. Hope this helps. Christine Carleton
