OILS UNCLOG A CONSTIPATED DOG

On Saturday, September 2, 2000—the beginning of Labor Day weekend—my next door neighbor came over and asked if we had ever taken our dog to the Vet due to constipation or really bad gas problems. When he came to ask me, Mick (the dog) couldn’t even use her hind legs and was very lethargic. My neighbor couldn’t reach a Vet and was concerned about waiting until the following Tuesday. So with a little persuasion on my part, he let me apply the Legacy oil blend to Mick’s paws and abdomen. When I was done I covered her nose with my hands and just had her inhale for a minute or two. Then I gave my neighbor several Sulfurzyme capsules and suggested he give the dog one right away and another in 3 to 4 hours. I also mixed up a serving of Power Meal in water, added an egg to it and had her eat that since she hadn’t eaten since the night before. I told my neighbor that if nothing happened in about six hours I’d come back and try applying the oils again.

We were planning a BBQ at their place that night so we were eating dinner about 6 hours later when Mick got up by herself and walked to the door to go out. My neighbor about fell out of his chair he was so shocked. As soon as they let her out she had a good-sized bowel movement and within minutes was jumping around on her hind legs. By the next morning she had been let out several times and he said that she had had bowel movements each time and was acting like a puppy again. Mick is a 9-year-old springer spaniel.

REDISCOVERY OF ESSENTIAL TREASURES

A handful of small, volcanic islands in the Pacific became the focus of worldwide wars during the 1400s because they were a rare source of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and other highly valued medicinal spices. At that time the “Spice Islands” had all the strategic importance of present-day Panama Canal or Middle East oil.

Four thieves who robbed dead and dying plague victims were captured during the Black plague of Europe. They were given a choice of torture for silence or the luxury of beheading if they told the secret of their resistance to the disease. They told of a blend of aromatic herbs that they rubbed on their hands, ears, and temples.

Our ancestors prized aromatics for healing and anointing There are more than 180 references to essential oils and spices in the Bible. The wise men brought gold to Jesus when he was born, as well as two other gifts considered just as valuable—Frankincense and Myrrh.

Barbarians once held the entire city of Rome hostage until a ransom of gold, silver, and 3,000 lbs of pepper was paid.

When bandits plundered the tomb of King Tut, they carried away the essential oils but left gold encrusted artifacts.

Cinnamon was one of the major goals of world exploration in the 15th and 16th centuries, and thus played a vital role in the discovery of America.
